Level Up Interviews (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an AI-powered mock interview platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: your email address, name, and authentication credentials managed via Clerk.
  • Profile data: resume content, skills, years of experience, and job context you provide.
  • Interview data: audio recordings, written answers, AI-generated feedback, and session scores.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and timestamps — collected to improve the product.

3. How we use your data

  • Provide and improve the interview practice service.
  • Generate AI-powered questions and feedback personalised to your profile.
  • Send transactional emails (account, session summaries) and, where consented, product updates.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted sub-processors required to operate the service (Clerk for authentication, Supabase for storage, OpenAI for AI processing). Each processor is bound by data processing agreements and applicable privacy law.

5. Audio recordings

Audio recordings you make during mock interview sessions are stored securely in Supabase Storage and are accessible only to you and our AI evaluation pipeline. Recordings are retained for 90 days after session completion and then permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion.

6. Your rights

  • Access: request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: update inaccurate or incomplete data via your account settings.
  • Deletion: request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
  • Portability: export your session feedback as PDF or CSV from the feedback page.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Changes to this policy
